But often, what they need most isn\u2019t quick solutions\u2014it\u2019s <strong data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"658\">someone who will truly listen.<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"892\">Listening isn\u2019t just hearing their words\u2014it\u2019s making them feel safe, valued, and understood. It means asking gentle questions, being curious about their feelings, and putting your own opinions or solutions aside\u2014at least at first.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"899\" data-end=\"933\"><strong data-start=\"903\" data-end=\"933\">What Your Child Needs Most<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"934\" data-end=\"946\">They need:<\/p><ul data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"1094\"><li data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"1005\"><p data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"1005\">A space where they can speak freely, without judgment.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1006\" data-end=\"1048\"><p data-start=\"1008\" data-end=\"1048\">A moment to feel heard, not corrected.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1094\"><p data-start=\"1051\" data-end=\"1094\">A connection that shows them they matter.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3 data-start=\"1101\" data-end=\"1127\"><strong data-start=\"1105\" data-end=\"1127\">Try This Approach:<\/strong><\/h3><ul data-start=\"1128\" data-end=\"1345\"><li data-start=\"1128\" data-end=\"1170\"><p data-start=\"1130\" data-end=\"1170\"><strong data-start=\"1130\" data-end=\"1168\">Set aside what you think you know.<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1171\" data-end=\"1222\"><p data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1222\"><strong data-start=\"1173\" data-end=\"1220\">Be open to learning who they are right now.<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1223\" data-end=\"1267\"><p data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1267\"><strong data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1265\">Focus on connection, not correction.<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1268\" data-end=\"1345\"><p data-start=\"1270\" data-end=\"1345\"><strong data-start=\"1270\" data-end=\"1287\">Stay patient.<\/strong> It\u2019s not about being perfect; it\u2019s about being present.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1347\" data-end=\"1508\">Even when it\u2019s hard\u2014even when you\u2019re scared\u2014keep showing up.
